Apologies and New Vision
As you can see, I haven't written much in the past year. Like, at all. For this, I am sorry. But, to hopefully make up for this I am starting with a new concept and vision.
This blog will now be a little window into my thoughts and life. As a place for information, and encouragement.
Hopefully keeping up with Thursday Tunes where I display, disect and give my opinion on the late songs that I hear that week.
So, if you will forgive me, please continue to join me on this journey of my life! :) Thanks!

Study of 1 John 1
Study of 1 John
1 John 1-
God and the Spirit were in existence from the beginning. They always were, always are, and always will be with us. When Jesus became flesh we, humans, for the first time were able to hear an audible voice, see another being, and feel flesh that God indwelled. Because of this miracle, God living among men for 33 years, all now have the opportunity to live in spirit with God forever. This is what being a Christian is all about. Being able at the end of this life to live in Heaven is a truly awesome and wonderful thing. Still sometimes people loose sight of the bigger picture, and become consumed with the woes of this world. In over 100 places in the bible it says to be glad. Yes, I understand that this life has troubles. The Lord even said that we would, (John 16:33) but he who lives in us has overcome the world! We can have joy in life because of this.
In verse 5 Light represents what is good, true, and holy. God has nothing to do with what isn't right. If we choose not to follow what he has commanded, we don't live by the truth, and God is always true. But if we strive for what is of God, Jesus' blood will wash away our every sin.
If we claim to never sin, God who is truth will not be in us. Some may say that they don't often sin, or they are little sins. Unless you are showing kindness, patience and forgiveness to everyone, which Jesus commanded us to do; we are sinning all the time. Believe me, just showing patience to the slow driver in front of you when are in a hurry takes a lot of self control. But we do have hope! If we just confess our sins, God will forgive and purify us.
Daily Challenge ~ Try to find joy in whatever situation you are in today. And remember that God is right there walking beside you in every step of the way!

Our Job
Hello There! I look forward to sharing with you about what the Lord is teaching me, and hopefully helping your grow in your walk with the Lord too.
The body of Christ.
If you attend a church service, there is a great chance that you will hear that context being spoken about. Many times a leader n the church uses the phrase “We're all part of the body of Christ; everyone needs to do their job." But what really does being part of the body of Christ really mean? Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 12:14-27, how each one of us is different but very important. I know that I could never do some parts of the church, because I don't feel like I have a calling for it, but some are perfect for the particular job because only their personality can reach certain people. And just because we aren't the pastor or the children’s ministry leader doesn't mean that we aren't special or we don't belong. but here is what God (speaking through Paul) says "And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body”, it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body." It goes on later to say that if the whole body were an eye what would the sense of hearing be? And if the body were an ear what would the sense of touch and feeling be? We all have a special calling in the church. We each need to step up and step out. We can't just step back and judge people for the work that they do or how they do it, when we aren’t willing to take some of our own time and do something about it.
